For practitioners to have an understanding of Life Story Books/Work and to know that each is a different piece of work to be done with children/young people to explain to them why they are in care /adopted and could not live with their birth family. For practitioners to know why we do Life Story Books/Work and the importance of carrying out this work with Children/ young people. Practitioners to be able to complete a Life Story Book and also be able to plan Life Story Work Sessions. Practitioners to understand the role of the Life Story Worker. Practitioners to know that the Life Story Worker supports and assists with Life Story Books/Work.
