Nominations for Children Services Recognition Awards 2018 needed
The Centre for Professional Practice is leading on a Practice Development week from 22 - 26 January for everyone in Children's Services.
The week will culminate in a celebratory awards ceremony for staff recognition on the afternoon of the 26th January 2018 at Himley Hall. We are looking for staff to nominate potential winners.
We really want this event to be as successful and inclusive as possible so although it can be challenging to pick just one colleague when our staff group is working so hard, please nominate those people or teams who you think particularly merit one of the awards listed below:
Categories:
Team of the year
Support worker of the Year (this can be a Family Support Worker, YOS Worker, Youth Worker or any professional who works with children who is not practising as a social worker)
Lead/Team Manager of the Year
Business Support Officer of the Year
Working with Young People in the Community Award (this can be any professional who works with children but who has made a significant difference to children in the community)
Foster Carer of the Year
Social Worker of the Year
Extra Mile Award (this is aimed at a person or team that have gone the extra mile and made a difference for Children and Families)
Strategic Director Special Award (to be chosen by the Strategic Director)

The closing date for nominations will be 4pm on 4th January 2018
A panel will then be convened to identify a shortlist and the winners will be announced on 26th January 2018
