Mental Health Forum 1 February 2018

Free workshop - Celebrating Time to Talk Day and personality disorders
Dear colleague,
Please see attached poster promoting our upcoming Mental Health Forum on Thursday 1 February. The mental health forum, which takes place quarterly, will be held at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Bank Street, DY5 3DH at 11am – 1pm.
The forum will mark Time to Talk Day by giving tips on starting conversations around mental health, as well as there being a range of stallholders from local organisations to chat with. The event will also cover personality disorders, the perceptions of them, symptoms, behavioural traits and services we provide to help. Attendees will hear from a service user, gaining their perspective on personality disorders, treatment, and how it can affect somebody’s life. This lived experience of mental health will provide valuable insight into the condition.
There will also be a clinical view given on the day which will cover the behavioural traits that someone with the condition may have and the services that the Trust provides, as well as local support avenues. A free lunch will be provided.
We’d appreciate it if you could advertise this to your staff, stakeholders and/or service users via your social media pages, website or newsletters. We also have hard copy versions of this poster so please let me know if you would like any.
If you wish to attend, please email dwmh.communication@nhs.net or call 01384 325015. If you would like to have a stall to promote your service, resources or support, please contact Tracy Cross at tracy.cross@nhs.net or call 01384 324531.
Kind Regards,
Chelsea Wood
