Transforming Children’s Lives: Our Early Help Journey & Thresholds, The Next Steps

Friday 20 April at Revival Fires, Dudley 9:30 – 11:30

We have been working hard to make sure that the children’s workforce in Dudley are able to identify the needs of children and young people as early as possible, and have the knowledge and skills to provide the right level of support and services at the right time.

Key to our aim of ensuring that Dudley is a place where all children feel safe and can thrive, we want to make sure that our Early Help offer is the best it can be as well as ensuring that we build a children’s workforce where we have the same understanding of the levels of support and intervention. We want to make sure our children, young people and families can be confident with a level of support they can receive. As a consequence we have now revised a number of our approaches.

Dudley’s Children and Young People’s Alliance and the Dudley Children’s Safeguarding Board are delighted to welcome Iain Dodds, DfE Advisor as Key Note Speaker to the event which will mark the launch of our:

  • Threshold document which will clearly set out the levels of support available to our families, children and young people

  • Early Help Strategy

  • Early Help Assessment

We are also using this event to inform you of developments within our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

The event will take place on Friday 20 April 2018, 09:30 – 11:30 at Revival Fires, 117-120 Wolverhampton Street, Dudley DY1 3AL. Registration will take place from 09:15. Book your place here (by clicking this link)

We look forward to seeing you there.

Andy Gray

Chairperson - Children & Young People’s Alliance

and

Liz Murphy

Chairperson - Dudley Local Children's Safeguarding Board
