Children in Care Council and Care Leavers Attend West Midlands Regional Event....

A group of seven children in care and care leavers from Dudley recently went to Worcestershire County Cricket Club to take part in an event for Children in Care Councils from across the West Midlands.

We got to meet loads of other people who are in care that are all working to make things better, as well as taking part in workshops on things like Independent Living and the work of the RSPCA.

‘My favourite part of the day was the market place. I helped to make a display that we took with us, and could explain to everyone what we have been doing, and we could speak to other groups about their work’ – Shanika.
