Support for 16 and 17 year olds
The British Association of Social Workers (BASW) and The Children’s Society have launched a survey on support for 16 and 17 year old children in need and young people’s transitions to adulthood.
The survey asks questions about: the support available for 16 and 17 year olds who are subject to a child in need plan or a child protection plan, or receive early help; how the support helps prepare them for adulthood; and changes needed to improve support for vulnerable 16 and 17 year olds during transition and into young adulthood.
