Children in Care & Care Leavers Survey results 2017

In the autumn of 2017 the Children in Care Council (Make A Difference) and Care Leavers Forum (Our Say, Our Way) were both keen to identify an issue affecting their peers and then work towards improving the situation by working with decision makers.

The groups felt that the survey’s options needed to relevant, and agreed that separate versions would be produced for 3 groups: 8-11 year olds, 12-17 years and Care Leavers; and it was also felt that there should be the option of completing the survey online. People would be asked to identify what they felt were the 2 most important topics affecting them from a list of choices, with the opportunity of adding additional issues under the ‘other’ option.
